New York Law School Spends $190 Million On Expansion Project

New York Law School undertook a $190 million expansion to nearly double its TriBeCa campus and create a cohesive new academic complex. To support its modern teaching goals, the school needed integrated audiovisual systems for classrooms, seminar rooms, moot courtrooms, an event space, and a large auditorium. HB Communications was selected as the AV systems integrator for the project.

HB Communications designed and installed flexible AV technology across the new building, including ceiling-mounted Mitsubishi projectors, instructor control panels, lecture capture, remote participation, annotation tools, and automated room controls. The solution also equipped moot courtrooms with recording, microphones, and cameras, while the 300-plus seat auditorium was built for both simple, unsupported presentations and complex events with multiple presenters and remote participants. The result was a highly versatile learning environment that improved teaching, presentation, and collaboration across the campus.
