National Grid Installs Mission Critical Control Rooms, Presentation, Training And Video Conference Rooms

National Grid worked with HB Communications to centralize its Transmission, Distribution, and Gas Operations in a new Northboro, Massachusetts facility. The company needed a future-ready environment for mission critical control rooms, presentation spaces, training rooms, and video conferencing rooms that could support employees for the next 20 years.

HB Communications designed and installed advanced AV systems across the facility, including a seamless Barco video wall in the Transmission Operations Center, Christie projection in the Gas Operations Center, and Crestron-based switching and control throughout the rooms. The result was a highly adopted technology environment that improved communication with remote offices, vendors, and customers, while helping employees reduce costs and increase productivity through daily use.
