Convene Adds Highly Integrated Auditorium & Multiple Meeting Spaces To 36,000 Square Foot NYC Location

Convene, a high-end conference space provider, needed to outfit its new 36,000-square-foot Manhattan location at 32 Old Slip with a highly reliable, easy-to-use AV environment for a large auditorium and multiple meeting rooms. HB Communications was selected as the integrator to help create a system that could support long operating hours, seamless collaboration, and simple control for users.

HB Communications implemented a Crestron control system with integrated projection, LED displays, surround sound, wireless microphones, Cisco videoconferencing, Polycom audioconferencing, and connected breakout rooms with touch-overlay LCD screens and whiteboarding. The result exceeded Convene’s expectations, delivering a highly collaborative and well-received space that supports recording, sharing, and hybrid meetings throughout the facility.
