Finaro, a NextGen smart payments provider and fully licensed acquiring bank, needed an in-memory computing platform to deliver very high performance, resilience, secure internode communications, and real-time visibility across its microservices while meeting strict PCI data-protection requirements. Hazelcast delivered an in-memory platform with built-in security and WAN Replication that Finaro used as a cache and interservice fabric, reducing disk exposure, enabling zero-downtime cross-site replication, and speeding development time-to-market. The result: overall transaction processing sped up by several orders of magnitude, an independent benchmark placed Finaro’s gateway in the top ten globally, and nearly every new Finaro product now embeds Hazelcast across about ten applications.
