JBW Group, one of the UK’s leading debt collection and enforcement agencies, was constrained by a legacy IT platform that relied heavily on manual intervention and offered little visibility into field operations, scheduling, collections, or debtor arrangements. Because the system was shared with other bailiff companies, JBW could not easily prioritize its own enhancements, limiting its ability to build competitive advantage and support future growth.

Haulmont analyzed JBW’s business processes and built a custom ERP solution, Hito Edge, launched in 2011 with parallel running to reduce risk. The platform introduced a customer-centric case view, dynamic agent scheduling, propensity scoring, and full management of payments and compliance through a smartphone app. With Haulmont’s solution, JBW grew revenues to £15 million, increased collections by 22%, reduced direct costs by 12%, and saw complaints fall by 22%; the business was later valued at £24 million in 2016.
