Addison Lee, a leading corporate minicab provider, faced rapidly growing demand, complex B2B booking requirements, and the need for a flexible platform that could adapt to each client’s processes and support new channels like smartphone apps. To meet these challenges, Haulmont developed the Shamrock system as a custom auto-allocation and fleet management solution.

Haulmont implemented Shamrock to handle booking, fleet management, billing, reporting, customer service, and bespoke client integrations, with an advanced auto allocator optimizing over fourteen criteria. The results were significant: Addison Lee grew revenues from £20m to £250m, expanded its fleet from 1,000 to 5,000 vehicles, and achieved up to 37,000 journeys per day with 98% automation. Haulmont also delivered Addison Lee’s first smartphone booking app, which generated £50 million in bookings in its first year.
