Town of Bassendean reduces staffing needs by 2+ with Hatchet

The Town of Bassendean, a local government, needed a new solution for its RYDE Program after a state mandate doubled the required supervised driving hours for young people. Their challenge was to manage this expanded program efficiently without relying on a large staff. They partnered with the software vendor Hatchet to develop a customized application.

Hatchet implemented an online software solution that automated key processes like client management, SMS integration, and booking systems. This drastically reduced the administrative burden, cutting the staff required to run the program from more than two people. The solution provided immediate feedback for users and delivered significant overhead reduction for the Town of Bassendean.
