Adobe, a large, acquisition-driven company operating across AWS, Azure, and private data centers, needed a company-wide secret management solution that could scale across hundreds of teams and support many different use cases. Before adopting HashiCorp Vault, Adobe had multiple secret-management approaches, fragmented audit logs, and difficult policy handling for auditors and developers.

HashiCorp helped Adobe deploy Vault as a centralized, hybrid-cloud shared service, later moving to Vault Enterprise for replication, HSM support, and disaster recovery. Adobe now runs 12 replicated Vault clusters across Azure, AWS, and its data centers, with centralized auditing and policy management that reduced ticket-based bottlenecks and let teams self-serve more of their secret and policy needs.
