Peru’s Biggest Bank Uses Hashicorp Terraform And Vault To Expedite Delivery Of Digital Banking Solutions To Historically Underserved Communities

Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), Peru’s largest bank and part of the Credicorp Group, was working to accelerate its digital transformation and deliver modern banking services across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. With HashiCorp, BCP faced challenges around slow, manual infrastructure provisioning and complex secrets management that delayed new application delivery and increased operational risk.

BCP implemented HashiCorp Terraform and Vault to automate infrastructure provisioning and streamline secrets management. The results were significant: a 96% reduction in provisioning time, secret validation cut from about an hour to seconds, fewer manual errors and lower costs, and faster time to market for customer-facing services.
