How We Accelerated Our Vault Adoption With Terraform

Sky Betting & Gaming worked with HashiCorp to scale and govern its Vault usage as demand grew across thousands of systems and hundreds of users. The small automation team needed a way to handle a high volume of secret-management change requests without relying on broad admin access, while also improving visibility and auditability.

HashiCorp helped Sky Betting & Gaming implement a Terraform-based workflow for Vault, using pull requests, ChatOps, Jenkins, and generated Terraform code to manage policies, LDAP groups, AppRoles, Kubernetes auth roles, AWS auth roles, and more. The result was faster request handling, better auditing and historical traceability, less manual work for the team, and a safer model where many changes could be reviewed and approved by users before reaching Vault.
