How Fleetsmith deploys Vault on Google Cloud Platform

Fleetsmith, the Mac management company, needed a secure way to manage critical secrets and bootstrap trust across its Google Cloud Platform environment. Using HashiCorp Vault, they wanted to centralize secrets management, secure service-to-service communication, and reduce the operational pain of managing separate identities, unseal keys, and self-managed access controls.

HashiCorp helped Fleetsmith implement Vault on Google Cloud with GCE-based authentication, IAM/JWT login methods, Consul-backed high availability, Cloud Storage snapshots for disaster recovery, and Vault PKI and transit secrets engines.
