Case Study: Citadel achieves flexible, scalable workload orchestration with HashiCorp Nomad

A HashiCorp Case Study

Preview of the Citadel Case Study

HashiCorp Nomad demo and Citadel use case

Citadel needed a more flexible way to unify compute resources and support both long-running services and batch workloads across its infrastructure. To address this challenge, Citadel worked with HashiCorp and its Nomad product to run any workload on any infrastructure through a single workflow.

HashiCorp’s Nomad provided support for Docker, virtualized environments, batch jobs, Java runtimes, and long-running services, along with multi-region federation, built-in high availability, and optimistic concurrency for better scheduling performance. The result was a scalable, easy-to-use platform designed to improve throughput and reduce latency across Citadel’s compute environment.
