A HashiCorp Case Study
Decathlon, the world’s largest sports retailer, needed a way to decentralize infrastructure operations for more than 500 developers across 1,500+ retail locations and multiple cloud/on-prem environments. Its existing ticket-based and disconnected tools created manual work, slowed deployments, and made it hard to support fast-moving, multi-channel retail demands.
HashiCorp implemented Terraform Enterprise to give Decathlon’s brand and development teams self-service, infrastructure-as-code deployment with reusable modules, version control, and approval workflows. With HashiCorp Terraform, infrastructure provisioning dropped from more than a week to less than 30 minutes, while reducing code errors, minimizing deployment delays, and improving team autonomy and responsiveness to market needs.
