LG Uplus, South Korea’s major telecommunications and media company, needed a faster way to provision and manage rapidly growing cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. Its development teams were bogged down by manual, click-based processes that slowed delivery, increased repetition, and made it harder to maintain security, compliance, and stability at scale. To address this, LG Uplus turned to HashiCorp Terraform for infrastructure-as-code automation.

With HashiCorp Terraform, LG Uplus built reusable code modules and standardized workflows to automate multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning. The result was a cloud management portal that enabled infrastructure provisioning in 1 hour, reduced the time and effort required to stand up critical infrastructure, and automated security and compliance thresholds. HashiCorp also helped LG Uplus standardize service architecture and CI/CD workflows while giving developers more time to focus on higher-value business problems.
