Harness Continuous Delivery as-a-Service saves iHerb 350+ hours per week

iHerb, a global eCommerce leader in vitamins, supplements and natural health products, was migrating applications from on‑premises .NET Windows to a hybrid cloud .NET Core Kubernetes environment and faced heavy CI/CD pain: up to 20 team deployments per day, manual TFS + kubectl updates across 18 data centers that could take up to 6 hours each, frequent deployment fires that consumed DevOps two days a week, and no visibility into who published what. To address this, iHerb evaluated and adopted Harness Continuous Delivery-as-a-Service.

Harness automated deployments across iHerb’s environment (multiple data centers and Kubernetes clusters), delivered out‑of‑the‑box canary deployments, Dynatrace/ELK integrations, ML-driven auto‑verification and auto‑rollback, and provided pipeline templates so developers could self‑serve CD. The result: Harness reduced deployment time from 6 hours to about 30 minutes per team per day, saved roughly 330 hours/week of engineering time plus 32 hours/week of DevOps firefighting (350+ hours/week total), and gave iHerb a system of record for 750 services.
