A Harley Johnston Design Case Study
The NSW Public Libraries Association (NSWPLA), the peak body for public libraries in New South Wales, approached vendor Harley Johnston Design for a brand renewal. Their challenge was to create a modern and recognizable identity that would serve the association for years to come.
Harley Johnston Design developed a comprehensive brand identity solution, which included a new logo mark combining the concepts of a building and a book. The solution also featured a bold typeface inspired by book spines and a wide, flexible color palette. The resulting identity successfully captured the essence of modern libraries as spaces for human connection. The client, NSWPLA, reported great feedback on the new brand and highly recommended Harley Johnston Design for their ability to listen and create well-thought-out solutions.
