Université Paris Cité secures 10,000 endpoints with HarfangLab

Université Paris Cité, with 75,000 users and 10,000 endpoints, faced the challenge of securing a large and heterogeneous IT infrastructure while operating under significant budgetary constraints. The institution needed a sovereign, GDPR-compliant solution and lacked the internal resources to staff a full security team. They selected the EDR solution from vendor HarfangLab to address these needs.

HarfangLab, deployed and operated by partner Orange Cyber Défense, provided a scalable and modular EDR solution. The implementation included a custom multi-department console and tailored scripts for the university's diverse environment. This solution acted as a micro-SOC, giving the CISO complete visibility and control to isolate threats, all while meeting budgetary requirements. The partnership provided immediate access to expert security analysis and allowed the university's internal team to enhance their skills without a lengthy training period.
