IFRAMIX, a Czech animal feed company and member of the CCPA group, sought to improve animal welfare by preventing thermal stress in livestock, a condition causing significant economic losses for farmers. To address this challenge, they partnered with HARDWARIO to create a mobile sensor solution for measuring key environmental factors like temperature and humidity within farms.

HARDWARIO implemented a solution using their CHESTER NB and COOPER SF wireless sensor platforms, which utilize NB-IoT and Sigfox networks for reliable, low-power communication. The data provided farmers and IFRAMIX experts with real-time and historical environmental insights via a web interface, enabling them to proactively optimize farming conditions. As a result, HARDWARIO helped introduce IoT to this traditional sector, leading to improved animal welfare, increased production, and the deployment of 100 devices for international expansion within the parent group.
