The Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg, a health resort and one of the largest hotels in Freiburg, faced the challenge of managing its revenue with only seasonal, static pricing and had not yet implemented any dynamic revenue management strategies. To address this, they turned to the vendor Happyhotel for a dynamic pricing solution.
Happyhotel completely replaced the hotel's pricing strategy with an automatic, dynamic pricing process. This solution provided the hotel manager with critical insights through daily reports and a detailed analysis section, delivering data that was previously unavailable. While specific pandemic-era figures were not comparable, the hotel reported that its Average Daily Rate (ADR) was particularly high on days with strong demand, and the automation saved a significant amount of managerial time.
