Hotel Auerhahn, a new 45-room wellness hotel in Germany’s Black Forest, sought to implement a modern revenue management strategy from the outset. As a new opening without historical data, the hotel needed a dynamic pricing solution that was both effective and efficient to manage. They turned to the vendor happyhotel for its revenue management service to help establish price discipline and optimize their average daily rate from the start.
The solution from happyhotel was chosen for its seamless integration with the hotel’s Protel on-premise PMS and its flexibility in creating dynamic pricing proposals. The implementation was quick, and the hotel’s team now spends only about 10 minutes twice a day checking the system. While a year-over-year percentage increase is not available due to the new opening, happyhotel has already enabled Hotel Auerhahn to consistently improve its ADR on a monthly basis with minimal manual effort.
