Northeastern University School of Law earns a 2016 Webby nomination with Happy Cog

Northeastern University School of Law engaged Happy Cog to build an innovative website for its NuLawLab that could effectively present a vast amount of complex data. The challenge was to move beyond a basic legal site and create a highly interactive, custom experience centered around robust maps that would showcase legal events across the world and different time periods in a clear and engaging way.

Happy Cog developed a custom map application that transformed complex data into a simple, informative user experience. The solution included a custom data processor to integrate information from .csv files into the CMS, resulting in responsive maps with a sliding timeline. The highly successful site was nominated for a Webby Award and led to a continued client relationship with plans to add more interactive features.
