Wearable Smart Tracker for Personal Safety

Happiest Minds, a digital-transformation and product-engineering firm, developed a wearable smart tracker to address personal-safety needs for children, elderly and persons with disabilities. The brief required fall detection and heart-rate monitoring plus GPS location, panic-button and geo-fencing capabilities in a small, low-cost, low-power form factor suitable for continuous use.

The solution uses a very-low-power 16-bit MCU with GSM/GPRS, GPS, accelerometer, OHRM, an LCD and a rechargeable battery, supported by optimized, small-footprint firmware and modular hardware design. The result is a compact, power‑efficient standalone safety device that extends battery life, allows feature add/remove flexibility, and integrates all components needed for reliable tracking and emergency response.
