Testing the Proprietary Smart Video Player for a Leading Education Firm

Happiest Minds partnered with a leading education firm to validate a proprietary Smart HTML5 video player and platform. The primary challenge was to ensure streamlined, standardized delivery of rich media across desktops, tablets and mobile devices while validating interactive features, accessibility and multiple streaming protocols for a global audience.

We performed end-to-end testing of audio/video bitrates and frame rates and exercised complex features such as interactive transcripts, playback speed control, captions, quizzing and theming using JavaScript/CSS3/PHP and HTML5. Using PMD, HDS and HLS delivery tests and automated test coverage for A/V, text/graphics and HTML5 rendering, the engagement delivered automated validation of interactive content and comprehensive cross‑browser support for worldwide users.
