Happiest Minds partnered with a leading energy management provider to build an industrial-grade IoT gateway that met demanding field requirements. The customer needed a compact, ARM/Linux device that combined multiple wireless protocols, wired connectivity and data logging, supported standard industrial serial interfaces, and enabled remote debugging and reliable long‑distance communications while meeting regulatory standards.

We delivered an ARM‑based Linux gateway with Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, on‑board PCB antenna and options for BLE, ZigBee and 3G/4G via custom add‑on cards, engineered with RF stack‑up and PCB design (OrCAD/Allegro) and FCC/CE certification. The solution supports industrial communication protocols, field data collection, OTA software updates and remote login, enabling multiple use cases, dependable long‑range data reliability and faster, hassle‑free remote maintenance.
