Happiest Minds partnered with a leading customer experience company that needed to determine marketing effectiveness and consumer behavior from massive, multi-structured clickstream logs (~10GB/hour). The core challenge was ingesting and aggregating huge volumes of machine data in a scalable, reliable way to support analytics and reporting.

We implemented an HBase/Hadoop pipeline with ETL-driven batch inserts, stored processed data in a columnar database for fast read/write, and used multi-level MapReduce aggregation (batch → session → cross-session) to produce dashboards and reports. The solution delivered a speed-optimized, scalable aggregation capability that outperformed traditional RDBMS and in-memory approaches, enabling timely statistical insights and better marketing decisions.
