Foreign Workers Centralized Management System for a Multinational Technology Giant

Happiest Minds, a digital transformation and IT services company, was engaged to build an end-to-end system to manage and control the movement of unskilled and semi-skilled foreign workers for employers in a Southeast Asian country. The core challenge was to modernize and centralize immigration workflows—transforming a paper-based immigration department into a secure, transparent, and scalable digital process while reducing worker exploitation.

The team delivered a centralized repository and registration hub linking source-country registration, medical testing, payment gateways and a Malaysian One‑Stop Center (employer registration, VDR/PLKS applications, MyIMMs & NERS), using SharePoint, Salesforce and Adobe AEM. A social charter and online checks made the process paperless; the solution captures demographics, biometrics and medical reports, sends real‑time alerts to workers and runs end‑to‑end online—improving control, traceability and worker protection.
