V-Guard, a major Indian electrical and electronic goods company, struggled with a high-volume, manual expense reimbursement process as more than 1,500 employees traveled each month. The finance team was processing 800–1,000 claims a day, spending 45–60 minutes per claim, while also dealing with paper-heavy workflows, delayed approvals, policy violations, and limited visibility into spending. Happay was selected to help modernize and automate the company’s travel and expense management.

Happay implemented its cloud-based travel and expense management solution, mobile app, and prepaid cards, with integration into SAP and accounting systems. The platform enabled automatic expense capture, OCR-based receipt processing, policy enforcement, and faster approvals and settlements. As a result, V-Guard cut reimbursement time from 40 days to 5 days, reduced policy violations from 48% to under 1%, and achieved 99% on-time report submission, while adopting Happay for over 75% of employees.
