A Hanwha Techwin America Case Study
We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort, operated by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, needed a new surveillance system for its expanded gaming facility and wanted a vendor with a strong reputation for quality and a wide range of camera options. The resort faced challenging conditions on the slot floor, including volatile lighting, moving objects, and a flexible, modular layout that made it difficult to maintain consistent camera coverage.
Hanwha Techwin America provided over 800 cameras, including the XNV-8080R, PNV-9080R, and PI5-1010R, along with the Wisenet WAVE VMS. The solution delivered high-resolution imaging, strong WDR performance, and low-bitrate recording, while WAVE improved live monitoring and camera organization. The resort also uses motion-based high/low recording to reduce storage needs, supported by 500 TB of redundant ZFS-based storage, helping meet retention requirements efficiently.
