The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center Upgrades their Video Surveillance System with Cameras from Hanwha Techwin

Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, the largest Marriott property in the world, needed a major upgrade to its aging video surveillance system after a 2017 risk assessment revealed inconsistent camera playback, short data retention, and poor image quality across its hotels. Hanwha Techwin America provided the vendor expertise behind the upgrade, alongside a new video management system from Milestone Systems.

Working with integrator Herring Technology, Gaylord Opryland deployed about 1,500 Hanwha Techwin America cameras, including XND-6010 HD cameras with analytics, Q series dome cameras, and PNM multi-directional models. The new system improved real-time visibility across the 3,000-room, 1-million-square-foot property, helped the resort quickly defeat a false claim on day one, and strengthened protection against liability and lawsuits by capturing clear evidence of incidents.
