Kirkland’s Home Décor, a global home décor retailer with over 400 stores, needed to upgrade its outdated analog video surveillance systems. The challenge was to implement an IP-based solution that could be accessed remotely to improve loss prevention efficiency, provide clear images, and minimize bandwidth usage. The company chose a security solution from Hanwha Techwin America to address these needs.

Hanwha Techwin America deployed an IP video surveillance system using its Wisenet X series dome cameras across 200 locations. The solution, featuring WiseStream II compression technology, provided wide-angle views of the sales floor, conserved bandwidth, and allowed for remote troubleshooting. As a result, Hanwha significantly improved Kirkland’s loss prevention investigation efficiency and operational effectiveness, leading to a planned rollout in all new stores.
