Davis School District Chooses Samsung for Transition From Analog To Ip

The Davis School District, the second largest in Utah, faced the challenge of upgrading its outdated analog video surveillance systems to enhance the safety and security of its widespread campuses. To address the performance and quality limitations of their old system, the district chose to partner with Hanwha Techwin America for a transition to an IP-based solution.

Hanwha Techwin America provided a comprehensive solution utilizing their Samsung IP cameras, including models like the SND-6084R dome camera and the SNP-6200RH PTZ camera, along with their recorders and Samsung Security Manager (SSM) software. The implementation has repeatedly demonstrated its value, and the district plans further integration with intrusion detection systems. This partnership has provided the district with an affordable, integrated security system of cameras, hardware, and operational software.
