Viasat, a global high-speed networking and satellite communications company, needed to rapidly roll out new offerings in 2013 while overhauling its core product bundles. To support new services like Exede Internet and Exede In the Air, and to lay the groundwork for product lifecycle management, Viasat turned to Hansen Technologies and its Hansen Catalog solution.

Hansen Technologies implemented Hansen Catalog to move back-office functions, migrate master product catalog items in one pass, and create an open translation layer for partners. The result was that Viasat met its rollout schedule, migrated all internal and external applications as planned, moved master product catalog data into Hansen Catalog, and enabled integration with systems including Netcracker and Volubill.
