A Hansen Technologies Case Study
Rogers, one of Canada’s largest communications companies, was struggling with multiple OSS and BSS silos created by acquisitions, which made it difficult to support a single customer view, launch new services quickly, and prepare for converged offerings like VoIP. To address these challenges, Rogers worked with Hansen Technologies, using Hansen Provision as the core service fulfillment platform alongside other Hansen service packages.
Hansen Technologies implemented an integrated fulfillment architecture that unified provisioning across cable, wireless, DSL, VoIP, digital video, and VOD services, including pre-integrated support with Nortel and other network systems. The result was true service layer abstraction, faster service rollouts, real-time response to network events through automatic re-provisioning, and the ability to create integrated service bundles without manual stitching between silos.
