A Hansen Technologies Case Study

Preview of the Bell Aliant Case Study

Bell Aliant - Customer Case Study

Bell Aliant, a Canadian communications provider, faced growing pressure from cable and OTT competitors to deliver a stronger TV and broadband experience. To support its FibreOp FTTH rollout and new IPTV strategy, Bell needed a way to scale VoIP, ultrabroadband, and IPTV services while reducing network complexity, manual work, and operating costs. It turned to Hansen Technologies for next-generation service fulfillment support, including Hansen Services Accelerator and Hansen Device Provisioning.

Hansen Technologies helped Bell automate order management, provisioning, and activation across broadband, VoIP, and IPTV services, integrating service order-to-cash processes with Bell’s CRM and billing systems. The result was 100% automated data and IPTV fulfillment, faster time to market, lower operational costs, and a scalable platform for triple-play bundles and future growth. Bell also gained a robust, standards-based OSS framework with support for Alcatel-Lucent ONTs, GENBAND softswitches, and Microsoft Mediaroom.
