Solhjell, a Norwegian maker of traditional bunads, faced a complex production and order management challenge across 80 retailers, 60+ designs, and operations in Norway and Estonia. Before working with HansaWorld, the company relied on several separate programs and manual data entry for orders, invoicing, planning, and inventory, which was time-consuming and difficult to manage. HansaWorld’s Standard ERP was selected to better fit Solhjell’s tailor-made garments business and its detailed tracking needs.

HansaWorld implemented Standard ERP with customizations for Solhjell’s production and inventory processes, along with support for multiple currencies and real-time visibility across both countries. The system went live in stages starting in 2006, with the full solution operational about a year later in 2007. As a result, Solhjell gained a fully integrated system that improved operational oversight, helped manage business more accurately, and streamlined production and decision-making.
