Aider OÜ, a small Estonian company that sells and maintains Amada Group metal processing devices, needed a better way to support a highly mobile eight-person team of technicians. Their previous business software, Directo, made maintenance service work harder to manage and did not fit their field-based processes. HansaWorld’s Standard Books was selected to provide a more suitable, tailored solution.

HansaWorld implemented Standard Books’ maintenance service module so technicians could access customer and device history, plan maintenance, order spare parts, and record work directly in the system from their laptops. The result was greater independence, faster service, better quality, and less reliance on paper reporting and in-person meetings. Aider also noted that invoicing became much easier, with customer invoices sent in just a few clicks.
