Kautra, the operator behind the reconstructed Kaunas Bus Station in Kaunas, Lithuania, needed a modern, safer, and more informative passenger hub. To meet this challenge, Hansab provided a range of smart station solutions, including IP video surveillance, IP access control, a sound recording system, a break-in alarm system, and passenger information displays.

Hansab implemented integrated indoor and outdoor information systems, self-checkouts for ticketing, and a customized payment solution for WC access. The result was the most modern bus station in Lithuania, with real-time passenger information, improved convenience for travelers and staff, and a 35-square-meter outdoor LED display plus more than a dozen high-resolution timetable boards and indoor screens supporting operations.
