Tallinn Airport - Customer Case Study

Tallinn Airport, the largest airport in Estonia, needed to replace its existing automatic fire alarm system at the passenger terminal. After a public tender in 2018, Hansab was selected to deliver a modern solution based on ESSER by Honeywell equipment.

Hansab designed and installed the new Fire Alarm System, replacing around 1,300 sensors and adding 6 new control units during 2018–2019. The project introduced the first fire alarm installation in Estonia managed via the ESSER Remote Access mobile app, enabling staff to respond remotely, locate alarms quickly, support rescue teams, and handle maintenance tasks more efficiently.
