Magic Fridge Pilot Project in the Baltic States

Magic Fridge partnered with Hansab, along with Aldaris and LG, to pilot a new way to turn a standard retail fridge into a digital advertising asset. The challenge was to create an eye-catching in-store solution that could both display products and engage shoppers in a more modern, interactive way.

Hansab implemented a pilot smart fridge featuring LG’s transparent HD screen, sensor-based visibility, and built-in audio, with content managed remotely from a central office. The solution is already installed in a RIMI hypermarket in Riga, Latvia, and provides new promotional opportunities for manufacturers and distributors; as noted in the case study, it is the only such solution in the Baltic States.
