LG Cargo, the freight company of the largest railway group in the Baltic States, needed a safer and more convenient way to handle cargo document transfers. Until then, documents could only be submitted during business hours, creating inconvenience for customers and added exposure risks for employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hansab was brought in to help with a self-service terminal solution.

Hansab implemented 24/7 self-service document terminals installed at 41 stations, supported by a custom portal and software for monitoring document status in real time. Using KePol terminals from KEBA AG, the new system allows documents to be dropped off and picked up without physical contact, improving convenience, safety, and operational visibility.
