IKI, one of Lithuania's largest retail chains, faced the challenge of the resource-intensive process of managing paper price tags across its extensive store network. Partnering with vendor Hansab, IKI sought a modern electronic shelf label (ESL) solution to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Hansab implemented a centralized electronic shelf label system across all 244 IKI stores, utilizing approximately 2 million digital labels and 650 access points for real-time updates. This solution eliminated human pricing errors, optimized staff efficiency, and ensured information consistency. The successful deployment made IKI the first fully digitized retail chain in Lithuania.
