A Hansab Case Study

ESL – an effective communication channel for retail

Samsung opened a new modern store in Akropolis, Vilnius, and needed a more effective way to communicate product and pricing information than traditional paper labels. To support this retail concept, Hansab provided electronic shelf labels (ESL) as part of the store setup, helping Samsung present information about its smart devices and accessories in a clear, attractive, and consistent way.

Hansab implemented SES-imagotag ESLs with 7.4-inch displays and a Studio application for creating unified label templates, enabling remote price and content updates across Samsung stores in the Baltics. The solution reduced manual label changes, lowered the risk of pricing errors, saved staff time, and improved customer experience by ensuring accurate product information at checkout; Hansab also installed video surveillance, customer flow calculators, and background sound systems.
