A Hannon Hill Case Study
Indiana University, a large and decentralized institution serving nearly 100,000 students across eight campuses, needed a scalable way to standardize web content management while leveraging existing infrastructure. With many disparate systems and slow, email-driven update workflows that could take days, IU formed a cross-campus task force to find a centrally supported, optional WCM solution that would increase participation from campuses and content contributors.
After an RFP process IU selected Hannon Hill’s Cascade CMS and centralized operations with the Web Tech team, paired with training and local site managers to drive adoption. In just over a year six major sites were launched (including a full migration of SPEA), content authors were empowered to make updates in minutes or hours instead of days, multimedia and content reuse grew easier, and system-wide CMS adoption and efficiency improved across the university.
