Case Study: Nichols College manages student clothing rentals with Handshake Appointments

The Bison Boutique and Handshake appointments

Nichols College needed a simple way to help students access professional clothing for events. The Career and Professional Development Center looked for a process that would let students reserve items for free and keep track of borrowed garments.

Using Handshake Appointments, Nichols College created the Bison Boutique to manage reservations and returns. The program started in 2017 with roughly 75 pieces of clothing and has grown to over 250 items, while the team used Handshake Analytics to track more than 660 rentals and almost 200 students served in the last academic year.
