Case Study: SNHU strengthens remote employer engagement with Handshake

A Handshake Case Study

Preview of the SNHU Case Study

SNHU’s strategies for remote employer engagement

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) needed a better way to engage employers while students, career centers, and employers were all working remotely. Its career services team could no longer rely on traditional local outreach and had to connect with organizations that had a broader hiring footprint and remote internship needs.

Using Handshake, SNHU took a proactive approach to employer relations, aligned its outreach regionally, and focused on virtual engagement and remote experiential learning. The team used Handshake to support employer partners, share best practices for remote internships and projects, and advocate for students; the case study does not include specific numerical results, but it says this approach yielded higher levels of engagement and partnership.
