Pathways, one of the largest providers of behavioral and mental health services in the United States, needed a better way to reach top talent across a wide range of roles and improve low engagement in career fairs and events, especially during the pandemic. To move beyond passive inbound recruiting, the company turned to Handshake’s Expert Assist to create more meaningful virtual relationships at scale.

Handshake’s Expert Assist helped Pathways build candidate lists, send outreach at scale, and manage virtual events, including event creation, invitations, and RSVP and attendance tracking. The results included 1 in 10 virtual event attendees converting to hires, a 30x increase in event RSVPs, and 100% more one-on-one conversations with students. A virtual event for candidates in rural Maine also drew over 100 participants within a week and a half of invitations.
