With only three staff members dedicated to early talent recruiting in the United States, the company wanted to improve efficiency, strengthen representation, and build a stronger candidate pipeline beyond in-person career fairs and events.

Using Handshake’s Advocates, NXP connected candidates with recent hires in similar roles to answer questions, share day-to-day insights, and create a more personal candidate experience. The approach helped drive a 166% year-over-year increase in students viewing NXP USA on Handshake, a 3x increase in candidates engaged through personalized messages, 219 students applying within a week of interacting with an Advocate, and a 9% response rate from students reached via message.
