Michigan State University faced the challenge of connecting students and employers across a large, complex campus where career messages could easily get lost. The Career Center wanted a more streamlined way to organize its resources, reach the right student groups, and support both broad and niche career opportunities.

The university transitioned to Handshake to centralize its tools and improve outreach for events and employer engagement. With Handshake, the Career Center saw increased student attendance at the Fall Career Expo, a record number of recruiters, representation from 13 of the 19 schools and colleges, and hundreds of students taking part in next-day interviews.
