Kennesaw State University used Handshake to staff its virtual career fairs after moving them online in the fall. Employer Relations & Events Manager Sheri Blight and her team needed a new way to support students and employers without the usual in-person setup, and they wanted a clear plan for organizing the fair.

Using Handshake’s virtual fair tools, including the employer welcome email and Session Details page, the team split into student and employer support rooms, hosted virtual prep workshops, and sent shorter targeted emails to employers. They completed four successful virtual fairs and used the platform to track sessions, manage no-shows, and help students and employers resolve questions in real time.
