Johns Hopkins Business School launches career development course

Johns Hopkins Carey Business School launched a new career development course for students in its Master of Science program. The school’s Career Development Office needed a way to support this audience, which is primarily 5th year and often international students coming directly from undergrad, while aligning career services with academic programs.

With support from Handshake and the Teaching & Learning department, the course was built and taught by a career coach in the CDO. The eight-week course was offered online and in person during the spring and enrolled 57 students in its first cohort, with plans to move to an exclusively online format in fall 2020.
